Security breach in “WP GDPR Compliance” opens doors for hackers

If you are a WordPress user as well and use an older version of the plugin, then there is a high risk that your site will be hacked. I experienced this myself and I write this little article to warn you. Please update “WP GDPR Compliance” to the recent version (as a site note: the same applies to WooCommerce).

But if your site has already been hacked because of this security breach:

  1. Go to your WordPress database via PhpMyAdmin (or similar)
  2. Click on the name of the database to load

Real life always gets me. I’ve got a new apprenticeship (Edit: I confused internship with apprenticeship; I meant internship) at a little publishing house which is really nice. If I have enough motivation for my private projects, it would put the cherry on the cake. But some “personal difficulties” let the flow dry in the last couple of months. We all have crosses to bear.

The translation project

The “translation project” is a series of mods which will finally get their English translation.

While I was rebuilding my website I noticed that some of my older mods haven’t got their English translation yet. That’s why I started the “translation project”.

Current status:
Hidden Hideout: translated and released (May 9, 2018)

I’m not always sticking to my plans but I do my best. I talked about my plans for the future some months ago on the Nexus forums. They changed a bit. So my current plans for the future are:

This is the first post I’m writing on the new server. All previous posts were written offline on my netbook’s localhost using XAMPP.
